National Auto Transport Services (Open Car Carrier)
National Auto Transport is considered the industry standard in auto shipping. It is the most cost efficient method of auto shipping. Auto Manufacturers use this method of transporting vehicles from the factory to the dealer showroom. Consumers, moving companies, public agencies, corporate and military transport their vehicles this way. Most car carriers use chains to tie down and secure the vehicles from moving while in transit. These chains are fastened under the undercarriage in front and back of the vehicle. All vehicles are manufactured to be tied down this way. This is a safe and reliable method.
Nationally transported vehicles are picked up within three to five days. Once loaded onto the car carrier the delivery depends on the state and area of delivery. Transporting your vehicle from the west coast to the southwest is approximately three to five days. Transporting your vehicle from the west coast to the northwest, southwest and south is approximately five to seven days. Transporting your vehicle from the west coast to the mid-west or plains is approximately seven to ten days. Transporting from the west coast to the northeast and southwest is approximately ten to fourteen days. Please keep in mind these delivery times can and do change.
